Ralph Lundsten
Nordisk Natursymfoni Nr 2 ”Johannes Och Huldran”
The second release in the Nordisk Natursymfoni series, following the masterpiece “Stromkarlen” by Ralph Lundsen, the proud Swedish electronic musician, released in 1975. A3 is an interdimensional space with endlessly overflowing bubbles of electronic sounds and a collage of female laughter, while B3 progresses quietly with gradually layered long-toned chord sounds, and the final part is a blissful moment as if angels are descending. Ralph Lundsten's world of expressing classical music with cosmic electronic sounds is in full bloom on this album. You feel a sense of oneness with nature and the universe. The wonderful thing about this work is that each listener can imagine his or her own story, regardless of the story actually envisioned. The inside of the cover spread shows the early Andromeda studio set up in Ralph Lundsten's luxurious home. It is a mystery what kind of electronic instruments he used for the production, but it is a tremendous sound image processing.
